BARC Wk 52 ratings: Star Bharat retains lead

BARC ratings for Week 52 (December 23-29) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Star Bharat reclaiming it’s numero uno spot while Zee Anmol slipped to the second spot. Retaining lead, the channel garnered a gross viewership of 692,154 a decrease from 692,817 recorded last week. ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’ was the third most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban.

FTA channel Zee Anmol, meanwhile, slipped a notch to the No. 2 spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 682,234 as compared to 692,817 in week 51.

Colors remained unchanged at the third spot in Week 52, garnering a gross viewership of 600,546, an increase from 598,691 recorded last week.

Surpassing Zee TV this week, Star Utsav climbed up at no.4. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 600,396 compared to 568,254 last week.

On the other hand Zee TV, slipped a notch to claim the fifth spot this week. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 591855 from 584,373 recorded in Week 51. Three of its shows continued to be among the top 5 most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ being the most watched Hindi show with 12232 Impressions (000s), while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and Mahek were placed in the second and fourth spot with 11468 and 9737 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Sony Pal placed at the sixth spot, garnered a gross viewership of  561,552, a further increase from 542,658, recorded in Week 51.

There was no change in the position of Star Plus as well in Week 51, which continued at No. 7, garnering a gross viewership of 501,322.

Rishtey, Sony Entertainment Television, and Sony SAB continued to be placed at No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10, respectively, in Week 51.

Rishtey garnered a gross viewership of 465,438 a further decline from 467,713 recorded last week.  

Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television saw a slight increment in its gross viewership – from 417,585 in Week 51 to 420,804recorded this week. Also, the channel’s Super Dancer Chapter 2 made a comeback in the top 5 shows placed at no.5 with 9185 impressions (000s).

Sony SAB, too, saw an increase in its gross viewership to 388,490 in Week 52 from 371,595 recorded last week.
