TV this week: Star Plus continue to lead the GEC charts, loses huge numbers though!

In the eighth week of TAM 2012, while Star continues to remain at the first position, though has lost huge amount of GRP's again; Sony managed to stick to the second position gaining good GRP's. While Star lost 41 GRP's this week recording 279 GRP's, Sony on the other hand gained 17 GRP's and registered 227 GRP's.

The third position is taken over by Zee TV this week and after gaining a whopping 43 GRP's, the channel recorded 222 GRPs.Though Colors slipped to the fourth position, it still gained 7 GRP's and recorded 200 GRP's.

SAB TV continues to remain at the 5th spot, and has recorded 134 GRP's with a loss of 7 GRP's. Similarly,Life Ok and Imagine TV maintained their positions at the 6th and 7th positions respectively. While with a minor addition of 3 GRP's, Life Ok recorded 81 GRP's, Imagine TV registered 63 GRPs this week.

A look over the program chart and Star Plus show Diya Aur Bati Hum remains at the top spot with 6.56 TVRs. The second position is taken over by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai with 4.65 TVRs, closely followed by Idea Filmfare Awards 2011 with 4.59 TVRs. Saath Nibhana Sathiya slips down to the fourth position with 4.44 TVRs. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon comes on the next spot with 4.18 TVRs. Closing the charts was C.I.D with 3.99 TVRs.
