NetworkPlay partners with SUN Direct to exclusive sell ads on the DTH network

NetworkPlay has announced its entry into an exclusive advertising sales agreement with DTH service provider, SUN Direct TV.

The agreement allows NetworkPlay to have exclusive selling and ad-serving rights on all of SUN Direct's owned and operated properties on its DTH platform. Sun Direct uses the latest MPEG-4 based technology to increase its broadcasting capacity .It also has convergent multi-service capabilities and proven real-time scalability allowing it to enable powerful new service offerings.

Sun Direct has 6.7mn subscribers pan India, with a distinct skew to the South of India which gives it a superior advantage with brands that have a true national footprint inclusive of the South.

SUN direct was the first to launch HD services on the DTH platform with 5.1 channel Dolby Digital surround sound. Currently, SUN DIRECT offers HD Channels like Movies Now, Discovery World, National Geographic Channel as well as exclusive HD services like Tamil Movie service, Telegu Movie service, Tamil Filmsongs service and Telegu Music service.
