IAMAI To Power T-Hub In Hyderabad

The Internet and Mobile Association of India has joined hands with T-Hub to boost mobile app development in Hyderabad. IAMAI, under the Mobile10X programme, would be providing testing, capacity building, monetising, and other tech facilities for the whole of T-Hub and others in Hyderabad.

IAMAI will set up a Capability building Centre within T-Hub building and work with T-Hub on enabling mobile app developing start-ups to achieve 10X of their potential over the next three years. This will be achieved by creating a structured programme and by allocating physical zones, which will be hosted inside T-Hub.

In September this year, IAMAI had launched Mobile 10X, which is the largest capacity building and ecosystem enabling programme for mobile apps. Google India and Paytm are the founding partners of Mobile10X programme. The programme aims to look at 10 times quality, 10 times revenue and 10 times the number of developers at the end of 5 years, and this partnership with T-Hub is an effort towards achieving that goal. This programme by IAMAI is also in line with the vision of the Indian government, which set aside Rs.1,000 crores fund for technology startups in the Budget 2015-16.

T-Hub is a unique public/private partnership between the government of Telangana, and three of India’s premier academic institutes (IIIT-H, ISB & NALSAR) and key private sector leaders. T-Hub is designed for technology-related start-ups, and its mission is to catalyse the creation of one of the tightest and most vibrant entrepreneur communities in the world in order to encourage and fuel more start-up success stories in India.
