Hyundai to launch a car under 800 cc segment!

As per media reports, the source close to the report further said, "There is scope for the small car in the rural markets. Around 2.5 lakh cars are sold in the 800 cc segment in the Indian market and Maruti is the only company in this segment. Hyundai's 800 cc car will be developed in its R&D centre in Hyderabad and will be the first car in this segment across Hyundai worldwide."

Further, JW Lee, Zonal manager (West), Hyundai on the rising sales in its used cars business under the Advantage brand said, "We exchange cars of all brands under Advantage, but we only certify and provide a guarantee for Hyundai cars. Currently, around 10 per cent of our sales comprise pre-owned cars and these sales are increasing. We plan to open 18 outlets for pre-owned cars in the west zone over the next year," as reported by media.
