Discovery Turbo Brings The Stories Behind Classic Car Restorations In Fantomworks 2

 Discovery Turbo presents an all new season of FANTOMWORKS that will prove the saying ‘old is gold’ by restoring America’s favourite rides. The series will feature the automotive restoration expert Dan Short who will bring his years of experience to the series.



FANTOMWORKS 2 will premiere on July 23 and will air Thursday-Friday at 10pm on Discovery Turbo.

In FANTOMWORKS 2, restoration expert Dan Short and his team only have a heart for those who genuinely love their cars. Every car has a story, but if you can't prove to Dan that you truly care about your car and want the job done right then he won't accept your business.

Dan's bustling shop, FantomWorks, is the largest automotive restoration shop in America. Leaning on of years automotive restoration experience in addition to the qualities of discipline and precision Dan acquired in the military, the FantomWorks team runs a busy production pipeline in order to meticulously refurbish some of America's favorite rides. Every week old cars come with new obstacles including irate car owners, personality clashes, cost over-runs, parts problems and walkouts.

This time around, the teams will tackle a 1983 Avanti with $58,000 worth of mismatched parts and a 3100 Chevy Pick-up with ropes holding the doors shut. Then, a 1977 Corvette Stingray arrives with seven layers of paint and too many problems to count and a 1965 Cobra is brought in for a simple wiring job, but the owner decides to wrap the car like a fighter jet and add machine guns.
