BARC Wk 33 ratings: Zee Anmol consolidates lead; Colors inches up

BARC ratings for Week 33 (August 12-18) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw yet another week of strong show up by the FTA channels. Zee Anmol continued to lead the Hindi GEC space. Meanwhile, Colors once again climbed up a notch to No. 3 on the back of its reality show, ‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Pain in Spain’. 

Zee Anmol continued to the lead the Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban for the fourth week in a row in Week 33. This week, the channel witnessed a slight increase in its gross viewership to 671,478 from 665,948 recorded in Week 32. 

Zee TV, too, continued in the second spot in Week 33, garnering a gross viewership of 628,459, an increase from 608,343 recorded last week. Three of its shows continue to be amongst the most watched shows on Hindi GECs. Talent hunt show ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’ remained at No. 1 this week with 11,317 Impressions (000s). ‘Kundali Bhagya’, the spin-off show of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, slipped a notch to the third spot with 10,096 Impressions (000s), while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ remained in the fourth spot with 9,928 Impressions (000s). 

This week, Star Plus and Colors switched places, with the latter climbing up a notch to the third spot. Colors recorded a gross viewership of 603,601 in Week 33, compared to 568,765 recorded last week. Reality show, ‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Pain in Spain’, also climbed up a notch to the third spot with 10,575 Impressions (000s). 

On the other hand, Star Plus slid a notch to No. 4 in Week 33, garnering a gross viewership of 597,354, an increase from 586,614 recorded last week. 

Sony Pal remained at No. 5 this week, recording a gross viewership of 551,597, a marginal decline from 556,217 recorded in Week 32. 

Rishtey continued at No. 6 in Week 33, garnering a gross viewership of 515,871, an increase from 492,683 recorded last week. 

There was no change in the rankings of Sony SAB, Sony Entertainment Television, Life OK and Star Utsav in Week 33. 

Sony SAB was placed in the seventh spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 396,881, a slight decline from 409,668 recorded in Week 32. 

Placed at the eighth spot, Sony Entertainment Television saw a decline in its gross viewership – from 400,952 in Week 32 to 387,798 this week. 

Life OK continued in the ninth spot in Week 33, reporting a gross viewership of 336,765, compared to 346,705 recorded last week. 

Placed at the tenth spot, Star Utsav saw a further increase in its gross viewership – from 304,324 in Week 32 to 313,710 this week.
