Ali Merchant makes a comeback with Yeh Hai Aashiqui -'Disaster Series'

Following his much talked about wedding stint in Bigg Boss – season 4, television actor Ali Merchant, will now be seen in upcoming episode of bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui –‘Disaster Series’. Ali will be seen returning to small screen after a yearlong sabbatical.

While talking about his comeback, Ali said “It feels great to be back on small screen; it’s like rejuvenation for me. I have been following Yeh Hai Aashiqui and always love the way the show portrays such beautiful love stories.” Talking about his role, Ali says “I am portraying the role of a Punjabi boy, Rudra, who comes to Mumbai in search of something good, only to find himself get stuck in horrific floods. And amidst all of this, he falls in love.”

This talented actor, who debuted with the popular television series Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, was seen in many hit shows like Amber Dhara, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and Do Hanson Ka Jodaa over the years. In Yeh Hai Aashiqui’s upcoming episode, Ali Merchant will be seen romancing RuchiSavarn, who he meets in the most unusual of circumstances. Yeh Hai Aashiqui’s ‘Disaster Series’ which truly exemplifies the message that love does not need a perfect place and time to happen,will showcase an amazinglove story in the unusual and  terrifying situation of floods.
