Sanjay Tripathy's 'Club 60' is all about celebrating life

Life is about living, enjoying and celebrating it with our loved ones. Sanjay Tripathy's film Club 60 which is due for release on 6th December 2013 is all about the spirit of life. The film talks about celebrating life which is a continuous process irrespective of one’s age or the hurdles they come across in life.

Sanjay Tripathy started his career as a science writer for prominent national dailies & magazines. He went on to produce India’s longest running science programme

‘Turning Point’ for its national network Doordarshan apart from working on many award winning documentaries. ‘Club 60’ is his directorial debut in Hindi Films and is been produced by Pulse Media Pvt. Ltd.

Club 60 is a heart-warming story told with brilliant use of the comic timing. It takes you on a journey of friendship, warmth, generosity and a lot of naughtiness!

The film can boast of veteran actors who have impressed audiences in the past. In Club 60 Farooq Sheikh, Sarika, Raghubir Yadav, Satish Shah, Tinnu Anand, Sharat Saxena, and Vineet Kumar come together for the first time on the silver screen. These are actors who  have defined new age cinema and television in the decades gone by, continue to give scintillating performances till date. Their emotional equation as well as friendly banter with each other will be a visual treat for audiences.

Five irrepressible club members, Raghubir Yadav, Satish Shah, Tinu Anand, Sharat Saxena and Vineet Kumar whose lives revolve around a tennis court of CLUB 60 inspire a lonely and depressed couple, played by Farooque Sheikh and Sarika,   to come out of it and fall back in love with life again

It is a fun-film with poignant and heart-warming moments involving some of the finest actors of Hindi cinema.

Story of Club 60 unfolds with Dr Tareek Sheikh (Farooque Sheikh), a neuro surgeon, suffering from acute depression after the death of his only son, shifts to Mumbai from Pune with his wife Dr Sayara (Sarika). A chance encounter of suave Dr Sheikh with the flamboyant, talkative, funny and overbearing Manu bhai, who stays in the same building, snowballs into Dr Sheik’s forced and reluctant entry into the Club 60's gang of five. But is Manu bhai and his gang just a chunk of some well-to-do crazy and fun-loving people or is there something more to them under their colorful and playful facade? The film explores  Dr Sheikh’s  slow and steady involvement with his group of friends and his  reluctant participation in Manu bhai's 'gang of five', who make him fall in love with ‘life’ all over again.

The film has actors Suhasini Mulay, Zareena Wahab, Himani Shivpuri, Viju Khote, Harsh Chhaya and Mona Wasu  in the supporting roles. A film not to be missed Club 60 is all set to give audiences an enriching experience and post watching this film their perspective towards life will change for the better and never be the same again!
