‘Spectre’ the latest James Bond movie, was premiered a day before its theatrical release in India exclusively for Sony PIX Premiere Nights across 11 screens in 8 cities.

Sony PIX ran a 10 Days contest from November 5th to 15th, where it gave its fans a chance to participate and win tickets for this action - packed movie. The 2200 lucky winners enjoyed the privilege to watch the Bond movie in the branded PIX theatres in a fantastic ambience that made them experience the ambience of movie theatre in a very fresh way like never before. The contest that ran on social media and television channel also enabled substantial promotion for the film by creating hype among the audience. The contests also enhanced social engagement between the brand PIX and its audience.

Commenting on synergy between Sony PIX the movie ‘Spectre’, Saurabh Yagnik, Marketing Head, Sony PIX said, “PIX as a brand stands for amazement that amplifies style, scale and talk ability and ‘Spectre’ as a movie has that style and scale that has helped it to be successful all over the World and Indian audience are very eager for its theatrical release”.

Commenting on marketing tie-up with other studios and organisations Saurabh explained, “Sony PIX keeps exploring opportunities and hence we move on from one to the other rather than preferring to tie up”.

Sony PIX has previously hosted PIX Premiere Nights for Robocop (2014), The Hobbit: The battle of the five armies (2014), Amazing Spider Man 2 (2014),   and Fantastic Four (2015) among others.
