TOCH - Introduces video shopping in association with Masaba
No more static images, no more boring online catalogues! Toch the new app in the market is all set to change the way the world shops with their interactive shoppable video content. The app has launched with the world's first mannequin challenge with their fashion partner Masaba Gupta.
Multiple developments across gadgets is making viewers embrace video consumption. Normally, 80% of the information we process is visual/videos. TOCH believes in the power of ‘NOW’ and aims to significantly shorten the journey of the consumer from only browsing videos to purchasing them with its pioneering video interactive platform! The focus areas for the app in the initial phase will be fashion, lifestyle, travel and sports.
Based on years of watching consumer consumption experience, and how they buy and act, we will see a seismic shift coming in 2017 in shopping consumption patterns. Shoppable video is the new age vehicle for brands to close the gap between moments of inspiration and actually clicking “buy. By Marrying video with an interactive component, TOCH will be the first Video Shoppable platform, where you can shop anything you like ‘NOW’. Arguably you have viewed, liked and participated in several mannequin challenges, but now Toch with the worlds’ first shoppable Mannequin challenge, in association with Masaba Gupta are taking you a step further in this journey. Currently the app is bootstrapping, with support from Znationlab giving the team the required infrastructure to maintain the operational efficiency and focus entirely on building the product.
