Sansui aims at Rs 2000 crore revenue by 2011

Sansui, one of the leading consumer electronic companies in India, which has alunched its new range of LCDs, Slim TVs and DVD players for the Indian market is targeting a turnover of Rs.2000 crore by the end of 2011. Through a multi-pronged strategy of introducing new products, entry into new business divisions, opening of dedicated customer care centers and special consumer oriented schemes.

Speaking about the developments, Jaideep Rathore, Chief Marketing Officer, Sansui said, "Sansui has always brought innovative and value-driven products for our consumers. Our endeavor has always been to offer unique experiences that exceed consumer expectations. Taking one step forward we have launched our new range of Hard Rock LCDs and with this we plan to target a 5% share in the Indian LCD market by the end of the current financial year. We also plan to increase our market share in television to 12%."

Besides exclusive service centers, Sansui has a dedicated customer call centre to ensure healthy after sales services. "We have also put in place direct distribution network under which each district would be supported by an independent dealer. This would reduce distributor dependency, especially in rural markets. We also plan to invest over Rs40crores in the next six months in advertising and marketing promotion initiatives," Mr. Rathore added.

In order to engage with a wider base of customers who are driven by value, the company would be launching special discount offers.
