Percept names Prabhakar Mundkur as Director, Business Strategy!

Prabhakar Mundkur has been appointed Director, Business Strategy, Percept Limited with effect from April 1, 2014. 

As Director, Business Strategy at Percept Limited, Prabhakar will be responsible for providing strategic direction, creating opportunities for integration and paving the roadmap for the overall businesses under the Percept Group. He will work closely with the CXOs of the various businesses across Percept to identify and leverage strategic business and synergy opportunities to herald the next growth phase for Percept in the Entertainment, Media and Communications domain.

Prabhakar joined Percept/H as COO in January 2005, was elevated to the post of CEO in 2011, and was appointed Executive Director on the Board of Percept/H in 2013. He played a pivotal role in spearheading the agency's growth over the past nine years with prestigious business wins including Canon, Toyota, SBI Mutual Funds, Olympus, Force India, Fedex, Carlsberg, Indian Oil,  Zee Digital,  and a host of other blue chip businesses. The agency rapidly climbed the Brand Equity Ranking after Prabhakar joined Percept H and the  Planning and Creative departments grew from strength to strength under Prabhakar’s guidance and went on to win many prestigious industry accolades spanning Cannes, to getting Percept H being selected in the Top 10 Hakuhodo campaigns in the APAC region in 2014.  Prabhakar has been a Campaign A lister for the past 4 years.

Amitava Mitra, COO, Percept/H will be taking over the strategic and operational responsibilities of Percept/H from Prabhakar Mundkur. With his vast expertise in the 360-degree communications arena, Amitava will offer a wealth of ideas, knowledge and experience which will help take Percept/H to the next level.
