MRSS APAC Announces New Leadership Team

Majestic Research – BSE Listed firm had recently completed the acquisition of Market Probe Singapore. MRSS has appointed former GfK and Nielsen senior executive Swe e Woon Tan as Managing Director, Asia Pacific responsible for managing and developing local and regional business across APAC.

Swee Woon joins with over twelve years of research and industry leadership experience with a strong proven track record in the retail industry. Most recently he was Regional Director, APAC at GfK and prior to that, he was the Head of Retail Practice at Nielsen. Swee Woon had also held senior leadership roles at public listed company in China as well as in the Singapore Government.

Further Michelle Ng has been appointed as the Director of the newly acquired firm. 

Michelle did her ACCA from Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales followed by CPA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Singapore.

Senior financial manager and Certified Public Accountant with 20-years professional background leading all aspects of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis/reporting across various industries and HR functions. Demonstrated expertise in leading finance, human resource, IT and administrative teams to implement improvement measures to enhance efficiency and cost cut. Well versed in regulatory compliance and contract/project management.

In order to maintain continuity and to aid the integration, the outgoing MD, Saji Kumar continues to be available to guide the transition till the end of 2017. His terms of association with MRSS post that period will be agreed upon before the end of this year.
