Mom’s Belief awarded by the UN at Zero Project Conference

Mom’s Belief, a social enterprise that empowers parents of special needs children, is proud to triumph the innovative project of 2019, for help in eliminating the barriers faced by the disabled, awarded at Zero Project Conference at the UN Office in Vienna, Austria.

Mom’s Belief will be presenting its solution to government ministers, health care specialists and other stakeholders from 70 countries at the United Nations’ Vienna Headquarters.

Mom’s Belief empowers parents with knowledge, guidance and training from a team of child psychologists, speech and occupational therapists and special educators so they can help their child at home. Customized resources are also delivered to the home, giving parents the tools they need to work with their child. Since its launch in early 2018, the Mom’s Belief home-based program has covered 1,000+ families in 114 cities in India and to families in the US, UK and UAE.

Mom’s Belief also works with professionals in schools, therapy centers and hospitals to enhance their capacity and complement their clinical capabilities and technology. This creates an ecosystem of support that families can rely on in their efforts to help their children reach their potential.

Mom’s Belief plans to expand to GCC markets in 2019.

The Zero Project is an initiative of the ESSL Foundation, with the mission of supporting the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) for a world without barriers.
