Mindshare Taiwan unveils #turningpoint event at Huashan 1914 Creative Park
Mindshare Taiwan, the global media agency network part of GroupM and WPP, held its annual client and partner event called #TurningPoint, yesterday, November 25th.
The event featured keynote presentations from Google, Facebook, Line, Spotify and Tagboard, in addition to the launch of Mindshare APAC and Yahoo’s joint research entitled ‘Getting Mobile Right’ which explores consumer behaviour in Taiwan’s mobile landscape and makes recommendations for unlocking the potential of mobile advertising for brands.
IN addition to the speaker line up, nearly a dozen digital booths demonstrated new technologies for brands to better engage their audiences in a truly hands-on fashion. Demonstrations included: Augmented Reality (AR), demographic facial recognition, interactive art, second screen syncing, and new online social platforms and marketing methods.
The whole event was set to the beat of a music playlist curated by the guests.
Winnie Lyn, Market Leader, Mindshare Taiwan commented on the event’s agenda;
‘Our clients are going to see a lot of changes to how they can and should reach their customers in 2015, and Mindshare Taiwan wants to make sure they’re excited, ready and able to do so. We’re seeing huge changes in how companies collect and analyze “big data”; an increase in online to offline interactions powered by greater smartphone penetration and a growth in the 2nd and 3rd screens that people are using while they consume other media.
