Match.com, Mother join hands

Match.com has appointed Mother following a review of its advertising arrangements. Mother had pitched against VCCP, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, DDB, Adam & Eve and Fallon.

The online dating site's ad account had previously been held by Hanft Raboy and Partners.The dating company initially began speaking with agencies about the advertising account in July, although the company at the time said no agencies had been formally invited to pitch.

According to Nielsen, Match.com spent about £6m on advertising in the UK across TV, outdoor and radio last year.
