Eros’ Sameer Gogate joins Vuclip as Head of Monetisation & Distribution

Vuclip has brought on board Sameer Gogate to head its Monetisation and Distribution operations. Gogate, who has already taken charge this month at Vuclip, will help grow the Viu network with a key focus on content monetisation and oversee some key initiatives. He is reporting to Vishal Maheshwari, Country Head - India, Vuclip. 

Prior to Vuclip, Gogate was with film and entertainment company Eros International Media as Chief Development Officer, where he was overseeing Eros’ investment in the development and creation of original content. 

He was previously associated with Endemol India as Business Head of their Films Division. Prior to Endemol, Gogate was with Viacom18, overseeing their Commercial function for general entertainment channel Colors and also with Viacom18 Motion Pictures, where he handled Syndication and Acquisitions.
