Disney announces streaming service Disney+

Bob Iger on Thursday announced Disney's plans to launch a new streaming service dubbed, Disney+ that will be launched in late 2019. In August 2017, the company announced its intentions of removing all its content from Netflix and to offer its own streaming service for all its past titles. Additionally, this year Disney brought Fox further expanding its video content library. The streaming service will offer titles such as the Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Animated films from Pixar will also be on display. Disney's sports streaming service ESPN+ brought in 1 million subscribers in 5 months.
