Talking about the ‘Celebration study’, Rohan Ayyar, Regional Marketing Manager India, SEMrush says, “With the increasing globalization, India with its diverse and vibrant culture has also embraced other cultures from across the world. It was surprising to notice that Delhi emerged as the most sought Christmas destination for Indians and left behind world’s famous celebration cities in terms of search volume intensity for the current year. Our study also projected the changing perception for Christmas in India, where the colorful festival gained more momentum than New Year celebration in the last 2 years. Following the search trends for celebrations and destinations, we speculate a great change in the people’s orientation for the joyous festival in the coming time.”
