Amitabh Bachchan: "Thanks to my angry young man image, I was even asked to clear traffic jams with punches!”

For the first time on Indian television, ZEE TV brings you a fun-filled chat show Vivo Smartphone presents Yaaron Ki Baraat co-powered by Amazon.in and Brooke Bond Red Label that will put celebrity friendships to test through a series of fun challenges and tasks. History will be created on 8th October at 8 PM as Zee TV brings together two living legends of Indian cinema for the very first time on a television chat show.  Sharing sepia-toned memories and heartwarming anecdotes from a friendship that spans over four decades is a special jodi that fans haven’t had enough of! Recreating their magic from films like Dostana, Bombay to Goa, Naseeb, Kaala Patthar and Shaan, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha will spill the beans on their friendship on Zee TV's chat show hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Sajid Khan.

While reminiscing and chuckling over some of their memories, Amitabh shared that their fans sometimes forget that the stars are not what they portray on-screen. Amitabh was known as the angry young man of Indian cinema who could beat up villains and fight goons single-handedly and this image followed him everywhere he went. He went on to share an anecdote, ‘I was once sitting in my car stuck in a traffic jam for over half hour. I use to have red van with black glass mirrors. A passerby who recognized me immediately stopped and asked Aren’t  you Amitabh Bachchan? Why don’t you just get off the car and punch two three people? That will automatically clear the jam!’  Shatrughan further added that it is the media who has labelled them as Superstar and Megastar but in real life, both of them are very normal, down to earth people in real life. ‘You have seen me killing or bashing up people but that doesn’t mean I will start killing people here on the sets. Contrary to our onscreen image we are fun loving and humorous people’. Hosts Riteish and Sajid got the superstars to play fun games that tested their compatibility as friends, asked them questions that brought out their mischievous sides and even had them interacting with some of their biggest fans

The fun-filled chat show is the first-of-its-kind, 10 week festive dhamaka that will have the hottest celebrities spill the beans on each other and reveal several unknown facets about their friendship.
