AMG campaign by mCanvas - 70,000 mobile users get hooked to Mercedes
mCanvas recently rolled out their award-winning mobile ad campaign for the AMG range of Mercedes-AMG SLC 43, AMG GLA 45 and AMG C 63 S. Created using their proprietary Scroller format, mCanvas helped Mercedes reach out to more than 700k mobile users in India.
Speaking about the reach of the campaign, Amit Thete, General Manager Marketing & CRM, Mercedes-Benz said, “The Mercedes-AMG cars are known for their performance and true ability to push limits of innovation and break barriers in performance technology. We wanted the campaign to showcase the ideology of "Driving Performance" - a belief that Mercedes-AMG stands for performance and resilience of the range. The mobile campaign hit the bull's eye by showcasing our range along with its features in a user- interactive manner. mCanvas gave users the freedom to navigate through the range and their features which resulted in 10% people coming back to our website to enquire further. This has been a very successful advertising route for us in the mobile space and we hope to associate with mCanvas in future too.”
The mobile ad showcased each car with their own features along with the number of cylinders, power in kW, time taken to reach from 0 to 100 kms along with the colours they were available in. This enabled the users to take their own pace in interacting with different cars and their subsequent details.
Nikita Ramrakhyani, National Sales Head, mCanvas explained, “The Mercedes-AMG campaign has been one of our most successful campaigns this year as people have reacted very positively toit. In fact, where attention spans of people usually range from 6-8 seconds, this time we have managed to keep them hooked for a full 15 seconds.”
mCanvas was founded in 2015 and has since worked with close to 200 brands across India and recently also forayed to the UAE for more business. The mobile ad platform has also won several awards for their campaigns for brands like Reebok, Nissan, Flipkart, among others.
