R K SWAMY BBDO team picks up 'Best Film' and 4 more awards at International Film competition in Delhi

The R K SWAMY BBDO team competed in the international 48 Hour Film Project as Junkyard Productions and walked away with awards for the Best Film, Best Actor, Best Writing, Best Dialogue Usage and as the Audience Choice.

There were a total of 44 teams in the fray, but Junkyard's "A Touching Story' ' a witty "mockumentary' on the caste system told through the character of a security guard - Vikram Singh, who is not just dedicated to, but also passionate about his seemingly mundane job ' was a clear winner. The winning film, from R K SWAMY BBDO's Junkyard Productions, is already a shortlist for the International Film Festival of India to be held at Goa shortly. Besides that, the 48 Hour Film Project will also send the film for screening at other 48 Hour Film Project events in various cities of the world.

The Junkyard team in alphabetical order is Abhishek Dubey, Abhishek Kumar, Amita Khanwal, Ankur Suman, Arnab Datta Chaudhuri, Garima Arora, Harsh Chitra, Harsh Shinde, Pankaj Bora, Rashmi Ambastha, Vaibhav Saxena and Vibhor Bajaj.

The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which participating teams make a movie”write, shoot, edit and score it”in just 48 hours. In 2010, nearly 40,000 filmmakers made 3,000 films in 80 cities on five continents.
