Prasoon Joshi receives Honorary Doctorate from Amity University

Academic Council and the Board of Management of the Amity University conferred the Honorary Doctorate Award to Mr Prasoon Joshi, who is currently Chairperson and CEO of McCann India . 

As a renowned Communication legend, Poet, screenwriter and in recognition of his  contribution towards the field of Communication , Arts Advertising  and Social causes, he was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (D. Phil.) – Honoris Causa at the Convocation Ceremony on 21 January 2017.

Individuals from many different walks of life have been awarded Honorary Degrees by Amity University. These have included world leaders and royal figures; eminent scientists, engineers and inventors, individuals who have made significant contributions in branches of business and industry; those who have distinguished themselves in many fields across the creative and performing arts and sport; and others, who in their individual ways, have made a significant contribution to the greater good of society.

Kasturirangan, Dr K. Radhakrishnan, Dr R. Chidambaram, Shri Ajay G. Piramal, Dr Sekhar Basu, Prof Bibek Debroy Ms Shobhana Bhartia, Shri N. R. Narayana Murthy, etc.
