Li’l Champs bid adieu on a winning note for Zee TV

As per the recently released BARC HSM weekly data (Urban + Rural) for Week 44 ’17, Zee TV has broken its own previous records with the highest viewership in the last 2 years of 741063 GVT’s across HSM.  Zee TV has been the No. 1 channel across HSM amongst pay Hindi GECs with 637078 GTVTs Q2’ 18 onwards (Average Q2 and YTD of Q3’ 18). The strong increase in Zee TV’s ratings can be attributed to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’ Grand Finale which was the highest rated finale of the year with 12131 impressions (‘000s) in HSM and 7912 impressions (‘000s) in Urban markets as also the robust growth across its fiction shows.

Commenting on the ratings, Deepak Rajadhyaksha, Deputy Business Head, Zee TV said, “The success of our fiction and non-fiction offerings stands testimony to our steadily strengthening relationship with our audiences. We are extremely thrilled about the consistent positive feedback we have received from the viewers for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs which fortified the show’s position as the No.1 talent hunt show throughout the season. As we continue to embrace the Aaj Likhenge Kal brand philosophy and ideology, we are humbled by the support and look forward to all our partners’ continuous support to chart a stronger success story.”

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs launched as the No.1 non-fiction show in its very opening week in February 2017 and maintained a No. 1 position in the 9 PM slot. Following the stupendous success of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Zee TV continues to align its content strategy in keeping with Aaj Likhenge Kal, urging viewers to curate their extraordinary destinies with shows like Dance India Dance which launched on 4th November 2017.
