Kraftly’s latest campaign ‘Krafts of India’ supports Smriti Irani’s new campaign #IWearHandloom

Kraftly, an online destination for unique & beautiful products recently launched their new campaign - Krafts of India, to support the Indian handicraft ecosystem by providing a platform to small sellers and homepreneurs to enable them to sell their products online.

In lieu of the same, Kraftly is proud and honored to extend support to our Textile Minister, Smriti Zubin Irani’s new initiative - #IWearHandloom. The campaign was started to show support to a community that weaves the diverse fabric of our nation’s rich heritage and brings international fame to our nation. It is a tribute to women who contribute to 15% of cloth production in India and 95% of world handloom production; it is saying thank you for their hard work and dedication for keeping our traditions alive.

Kraftly has launched a contest as an extension of Ms. Irani’s campaign wherein contestants are required to upload a picture of themselves wearing Indian handlooms and tag 5 of their friends to carry on the contest chain ahead. Once the pictures are uploaded on the social platforms, the images need to be hash tagged with #KraftsofIndia, #Kraftly, and #IWearHandloom.

Speaking about the camapaign, Akshay Gulati, CBO, Kraftly, said "At Kraftly we are always trying to support artists and small business owners by making e-commerce accessible to them. Weavers and artisans are currently under served by the online retail ecosystem. Campaigns like this will help increase awareness of their craft and increase demand for their products

5 lucky winners will win exciting gifts from Kraftly!

So be a part of this contest to lend your support to the Indian handicraft ecosystem & make it a huge success.
