Channel [V]'s Prem Kamath quits...!

Prem Kamath, head of Channel V and general manager - Star Pravah has put down his papers. Last year Kamath took on additional responsibility at Star Network where along with his duties at Channel V he was assigned the role of general manager at Star Pravah, the Marathi GEC of Star Network.

Kamath confirmed the news to Adgully and is serving his notice period as of now. When asked about his next destination Kamath said that he was contractually bound not to reveal it right now but would let us know about further developments on that front soon.

Kamath had been heading Channel V for more than four years now and was associated with the Star Network since 2007  where he began his journey as  vice-president, marketing, Star India. Before joining Star India, he has worked with Leo Burnett as associate vice-president for more than seven years. He completed his education from MICA, Ahmedabad.
