Cargill Foods India Announces Strategic Initiatives with an aim to garner national leadership in Sunflower oil category

Cargill Foods India today announced key initiatives with an aim to claim national leadership in the sunflower category. The company has partnered with Rising Pune Supergiants as ‘official healthy cooking partners of rising Pune Supergiants’ for its brand Gemini, the No. 1 sunflower oil brand in Maharashtra.

The company also announced the launch of new and refreshed packs of Nature Fresh Actilite low-fat cooking sunflower oil and Sweekar sunflower oil which will be available in the markets from this month.

Naturefresh Actilite is the first Low Fat Cooking Oil in the country available in Sunflower and Soyabean variants. Sweekar is a Low Absorption sunflower Oil, which ensures less oil gets absorbed in the food during the cooking process, hence limiting the fat that enters the body.
