Anita Mazumdar quits Fortune India as National Advertising Director

Anita Mazumdar, National Advertising Director, Fortune India, has put in her papers. This marks her exit from the ABP Group after a long association. Her reasons for leaving are personal.

Mazumdar had spent almost three decades in the ABP Group in various capacities, having handled a rich and diverse portfolio, including their dailies, events, sales training, media school and for the last four and half years, Fortune India, where she headed the business.

Prior to National Advertising Director, Mazumdar was DGM - Events Sales, Dailies at ABP Group. She had joined the group in March 1986 as a trainee in the Ad Sales Department in Delhi for the company’s English daily, The Telegraph. She then moved on to head the flagship brand, Anandabazar Patrika, in the North and eventually headed a sales team of 18 people in Delhi for both ABP and The Telegraph.
