YouTube announces the Creative Excellence Awards for H2 2018

YouTube has announced Creative Excellence Award winners for the second half of 2018 commemorating ads that are shaping creative excellence on YouTube in India. The list of top ads from July 2018 till December 2018 were rated by an esteemed panel of 10 representatives from creative agencies, ad film direction and media planning agencies, and have been compiled by Kantar IMRB.

The winning ads were shortlisted from among 30 YouTube ads, determined by an internal algorithm which factors organic and paid views, along with other audience metrics. The ads were then evaluated against the following parameters: “Attention, Brand-Ad fit, Memorability, Uniqueness, Relevance, Comprehension, Human Insights and overall Likeability”.

The winners are: Samsung for Bixby Voice Assistant, Hyundai for 20 years in India, Milton for Thermosteel Flasks, Dove for #Letsbreaktherulesofbeauty, Bajaj Avenger for Independence Day celebration, and Apple for Apple's big news in 108 seconds.
