Whisper collaborates with Girliyapa to launch ‘Girls Hostel’

It is rightly said, that hostel life is a time in one’s life when nights turn into mornings and friends turn into family. Whisper in association with Girliyapa is set to bring alive hostel experiences with its latest offering, Girls Hostel. Starting 7^th December as a weekly release, Girls Hostel is a part of Whisper’s ongoing #MeriLifeMereRules campaign which aims at encouraging audiences to stand up for what they believe in and to live life by their own rules. This 4-part original series stars Ahsaas Channa, Simran Natekar, Srishti Srivastava and Parul Gulati in pivotal roles; and will revolve around the bonds they forge and the life experiences they nurture.

The #MeriLifeMereRules campaign is a continuation of Whisper’s efforts towards empowering women to be unstoppable, and shun the many limitations forced upon them by the society at large. Their past campaigns, ‘Touch the Pickle’, ‘Like A Girl’ and ‘Sit Improper’ have won numerous awards, and have been loved by the audience in equal measure.

Girls Hostel is a Girliyapa Original Series directed by Chaitanya Kumbhakonum. The narrative explores the everyday lives of 4 Dental College Students – Richa, Milli, Jo and Zahira, as they come together to deal with their own personal issues; right from overbearing parents to eccentric wardens to the mean girls they encounter. Girls Hostel is a humorous roller coaster ride, rife with real human emotions coupled with relatable hostel experiences.
