Wait for readership data lengthens as IRS pushed back to Q3 2017

The release date of Indian Readership Survey has been further pushed back, with the next tranche of data now expected only in the third quarter of 2017. The data was earlier slated to be released in January 2017.

In response to a query regarding this delay, Sathyamurthy Namakkal, Executive Director, DDB Mudra Group, and Chairman, Technical Committee, MRUC, stated, “We suspended the field work for about 70 days in order to enhance security measures and some technological advancements. The field work has since resumed for the last couple of weeks. The final outcome of the full year field work will be of superlative quality.”
