Suresh Narayanan likely to be next Nestle India MD

Mr. Etienne Benet, Managing Director, will be leaving Nestlé India Ltd. on 25th July, 2015 and relocating to Nestlé Group Head Office in Switzerland. Nomination has been received from Nestlé S.A. for the appointment of Mr. Suresh Narayanan as the Managing Director of Nestlé India Ltd. with effect from 1st August 2015. In the meantime, Mr. Narayanan will function as a designate. The proposal is subject to necessary approvals. 

Mr. Narayanan joined the Nestlé Group in 1999 in India, his home country.                      

His international career began in 2003 with several assignments in South East Asia.  From 2005 to 2008 he was Head of Sales for Nestlé’s South Asia Region, where he spearheaded major structural and strategic changes in sales and customer management.  More recently he was Market Head of Nestlé’s North East Africa Region where he achieved significant business growth in a turbulent and volatile market environment. Mr. Narayanan is currently the Chairman and CEO of Nestlé Philippines.

Mr. Narayanan holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and a Diploma from the IMD Program for Executive Development. He is married with one daughter.
