Spirit W | Women think from head and heart: Vivaki Exchange's Mona Jain

Spirit W this week brings to you Mona Jain, Chief Operating officer, Vivaki Exchange. This post graduate in Marketing had incidentally graduated in Industrial Chemistry. She reminisces about her first job which was with RK Swamy's research division, Humsa Research Group and said, "I spent first 2 months in villages doing research for a Tractor company. Post that in straight 3 months, I joined HTA as Media Planning Trainee."

Jain further goes on to talk about some of her work that she is proud of, "Some great work on Whirlpool have been done and I would like to thank Ashok Bhasin and Sanjeev Bhargav for supporting us. We got the Emvies for best media strategy for Whirlpool and Best/relevant innovation."

"Others include work on Samsung Cup, Samsung IIFA which are the two properties and have delivered on an amplification strategy to ensure that the association was complete. Also work done for the GLOBAL title sponsorship of Titanic for Samsung," Jain added.

Talking about women she derives inspiration from, Jain said, "In my profession- foremost my boss Ambika Srivastava, Vibha Rishi- who used to be my client at Pepsi are people I really look up to."

Jain feels that women definitely have an edge over men in the media industry, she exclaimed, "Yes we do- that goes without saying! We think from our head and heart."
