SHEROES Onboards Unny Radhakrishnan as Chief People & Business Officer

SHEROES has brought in Unny Radhakrishnan, as its Chief People and Business Officer. Unny, a WPP veteran was until recently the Chief Digital Officer at Wavemaker part of GroupM/WPP. A well respected industry professional, Unny will lead company’s efforts in ramping up scale and strength of the company for all its stakeholders – teams, businesses, brands and partners.

“Building a consumer internet company which has Empathy and Trust as the OS (operating system) happens perhaps once in a blue moon. SHEROES is truly the New Internet for women, and I am very excited to be a part of it," says Unny, who brings with him 20 years of experience in Marketing Communications, Digital Media & Marketing, and Technology & IT.

In his earlier role as Chief Digital Officer at Wavemaker part of GroupM/WPP, Unny was responsible for developing and leading the digital practice, including media, creative, technology, social, and analytics, and building a highly successful team of over 200 people. He spent over a decade at Wavemaker.

But building a network as an eco-system with everything focused for the benefit of the community is more challenging and deeper. That's what differentiates SHEROES. My work, in a sense will be at the intersection of People, Product and Market.”

SHEROES, the largest women-only community platform, is ramping up its leadership team, including its engineering and product teams as it sets out to become a 500 million women platform.

SHEROES has language capability in over 20 Indian and global languages and has a footprint across the globe including South Asia, Middle East and Latin America. At 15 million women today, SHEROES expects to become a 100 million women network in next 2-3 years.
