Seagram's Royal Stag gets a contemporary makeover

Royal Stag, one of the ‘India’s 100 most Valuable Brand of the Year 2013-14’ (Awarded by Asia’s top brand rating and ranking company, World Consulting and Research Corporation, with KPMG as the process advisors and evaluators in India) in the alcobev category, from Pernod Ricard India, unveiled its new packaging giving it an extremely contemporary look. The original blend stays the same, assuring the discerning customers about the unmatched taste that the brand offers.

Continuing the same brand philosophy “It’s your life, Make it Large”, Royal Stag’s design has taken a contemporary, appealing and a premium turn. The new design with enhanced premium cues in the bottle shape and the increased level of refinement through execution of the unique label shape gives the packaging a distinctive and appealing “larger than life" look.

Speaking about the launch of new packaging, Raja Banerji, Assistant Vice President Pernod Ricard India said, “Royal Stag has established itself as an iconic brand in the country and we continue to evolve keeping in step with the aspirations of our consumers.  With the same blend that has delighted millions, Royal Stag now comes in a new Avataar with a complete packaging makeover.  The trendier look of Royal Stag is an expression designed to cater to the aspirations of the consumer.”

Royal Stag’s new look and appearance can be seen in the shape of the bottle, its mono carton and the label. The introduction of Burgundy and Gold, a more graphical and sharper expression of the “Stag”, the flatter ribbon and removal of curved surfaces; all add to give the bottle a modern look.

“While the packaging is fresh and modern,  it  supports the brand’s USP  of “No artificial flavours and Seagram Quality” in the form of a seal that defines the authenticity and reinforces  its superior quality and blend which consumers have enjoyed over  so many years.” added Banerji.

Royal Stag is a leading brand in the Indian alcobev market for the last two decades. It is a blend of Indian Grain spirits and imported scotch malts. It pioneered not using artificial flavours – a first for the industry and continues to do so.
