RAM Week 9: Big FM leads in Bengaluru with the market share of 19.5 per cent!

Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) presents the data for the 9th week, 2010. The data is available for the four markets ' Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata.

Mumbai ' Radio Mirchi is leading here with the market share of 17.2 per cent. The channels average share in the city for the past 4 weeks stands at 17.1 percentage points.

3rd position - Radio City has a market share of 13.4 per cent.

5th position ' Fever FM has recorded a market share of 11.4 per cent. It registered the loss of 0.2 percentage points.

7th position ' Radio One market share this week is 6.6 per cent.

However, among the other stations in Mumbai, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 4.3 per cent; followed by Meow FM (2.6 per cent) and Akashvani Mumbai (2.2 per cent).

Delhi ' Radio Mirchi maintained its first position with a market share of 23.3 per cent. The channel has registered the loss of 0.7 percentage points. The radio station's average market share over the past four weeks turns out to be 24.4 per cent.

3rd position - AIR FM Gold has a market share of 17.8 per cent. The channels average share in the city for the past 4 weeks stands at 17.5 percentage points.

5th position ' Radio City has a market share of 8.7 per cent.

7th position ' Radio One has a market share of 5.5 per cent.

2nd position - Radio Mirchi has garnered the market share of 17.2 per cent. The channel average market share is 16.4 per cent.

4th position ' Radio City has garnered a market share of 12.2 per cent. The channel average market share is 12.6 per cent from past 4 weeks.

6th position - Radio One has a market share of 8.9 per cent.

Whereas, among the other radio stations in Bengaluru, Vividh Bharati has garnered a market share of 4.9 per cent, adding 0.8 percentage point in comparison to Week 8. It is followed by Radio Indigo (2.4 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.6 per cent) and Akashvani (0.4 per cent).

Kolkata - Radio Mirchi is on the leading position with the market share of 20.3 per cent. The station's average market share is same as last 4 weeks.

2nd position ' Big FM has a market share of 16.6 per cent. The channel registered the gain of 0.5 percentage points. The channels average market share for the last 4 weeks is 16.4 per cent.

3rd position ' Friends FM has garnered market share of 13.2 per cent. From last four weeks its average market share is 13.4 per cent.

4th position ' Aamar FM has recorded a market share of 10.5 per cent. The channel registered the loss of 0.1 percentage points. The channels average market share for the last 4 weeks is 10.6 per cent.

6th position ' Fever FM has a market share of 7.7 per cent. It registered the loss of 0.6 percentage points. The channels average market share for the last 4 weeks is 8.1 per cent.

7th position ' Radio One has garnered the market share of 6.3 per cent.

8th position ' Meow has a market share of 5.8 per cent.

Among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.7 per cent, followed by AIR FM Gold (3.6 per cent), Akashvani (1.9 per cent), Power FM (1.3 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.5 per cent).
