Radio Mirchi commences broadcast from Kochi

Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, which operates its FM radio service under the Radio Mirchi brand, has informed BSE that it has commenced broadcast from its radio station at Kochi (104 FM) with effect from April 17, 2016.

The Kochi launch comes close on the heels of the launch of the Radio Mirchi Guwahati station. The station will play an equal mix of contemporary Hindi and Malayalam music. Radio Mirchi Kochi would be looking to tap the young listeners.

This is Radio Mirchi’s second station in Kerala, the first one being in Thiruvananthapuram.

Bangalore is the next destination for Radio Mirchi as the station gears up to launch its second frequency in the Southern metro.
