Paper Boat’s video tribute to teachers who wouldn’t give up on us

Paper Boat, a brand built on drinks, memories and a whole lot of nostalgia, paid a video tribute to our educators in classic style this Teacher’s Day, that brought back memories of school time and especially those teachers who wouldn’t give us even one period off, neither would they give up on us.

When we think of school, we think of chalk powder sifting through noisy classrooms, PT shoes squeaking as tiny feet shuffled in crowded hallways, and without a doubt, we think of our favourite teachers.

Their imposing statures scared us, but we couldn’t help but be inspired by the vast expanse of knowledge they carried with them. From wiping blackboards to wiping our tears, they have always been our constants. We’ve hated them, we’ve loved them, and we’ve been in awe of them.

The video, titled ‘A late Teachers’ Day card’, shows a former student writing down a note for his school teacher, who was known as Hitler Hitesh for being strict on his students, but also was enthusiastic about imparting knowledge and discipline. The now grown-up former student recalls how much this used to irk the students while in school, but how those very things – knowledge and strict discipline – have stood in good stead in his adult life.
