ON PURPOSE adds senior counsel

ON PURPOSE, a creative communications consultancy, has made three senior hires strengthening its team and offering for clients in strategic media counsel, crisis communications, digital media, capacity building and content solutions.

Meera Krishnan joins ON PURPOSE as Consulting Partner with over 25 years’ experience in both in-house and agency roles including serving as Communications lead at some of the world’s largest telecom brands operating in India. Having started her career in advertising, Meera has also been CEO of one of India’s leading PR agencies and has a robust track record in advising C-suites on how to position and drive big picture narratives with media across corporate, business, technology and environment. At ON PURPOSE, Meera will be partnering with Founder and Managing Partner, Girish Balachandran in providing strategic counsel to clients, building a management team and winning new business.

Diksha Sethi returns to ON PURPOSE as Head of Strategy after a short sabbatical. She specialises in training social media response teams and delivering capacity building workshops for private companies and government organisations, most recently for the State Government of Assam and National AIDS Control Organisation. Diksha started her career as a radio presenter for India’s first ‘Just-For-Women’ radio station and has previously worked with agencies like Genesis BCW and Avian WE and been part of teams delivering award winning campaigns for clients like Philips, AB-Inbev, Qualcomm, Ford Motors and IndiGo airlines. A certified trainer from the World HR Board, Diksha also leads social media workshops for Times Professional Learning. At ON PURPOSE, Diksha will help build its core offering for clients in campaigns and content planning, social media and digital marketing.

Neha Mathrani has joined ON PURPOSE as Content lead, to deliver creative writing and content strategies for its clients. Neha too, has worked with ON PURPOSE last year in a freelance capacity and has now joined full time. In her last role at YES Global Institute, Neha drove partnerships with key cultural institutions like UNESCO, Juggernaut Books, Harper Collins, British Council and Google. Neha has completed her Masters in Creative and Cultural Industries from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane Australia where she was recipient of the Executive Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
