Nikhil Madhok elevated to EVP and Head of Hotstar Original Content

Hotstar has appointed Nikhil Madhok as EVP and Head – Hotstar Original Content in July. He reports to Hotstar, CEO, Ajit Mohan. He was previously the Executive Vice President at Star TV Network. His prior work experience includes heading the Hindi GEC Life Ok and the launch of popular show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ after which he rose in the ranks to the position of marketing head of Star Plus. He has also worked at Turner Broadcasting as a Senior Director – Marketing between the years 2008-11.

His 18 years of experience includes general management, brand management, and sales for leading brands including HUL where he worked for 6 years.
