Mukesh Bansal moves from Myntra to oversee Flipkart

Mukesh Bansal one of the founding members of Myntra in 2007 has moved to oversee the ecommerce platform of its larger entity Flipkart.He is believed to have moved to Flipkart to take the company’s to the next level.

Myntra the country’s largest online fashion retailer has recently shut down its website operating only through mobile apps is now in the hunt for a new CEO. This is crucial time for Myntra has the company is looking for growth and to become more profitable by 2016. For the records Myntra has been acquired for $300 million by Flipkart in May 2014.

Mukesh Bansal is not only limiting his options to India but is going global for the search of the new CEO. Both Myntra and Flipkart in recent time have undertaken extensive revamping exercise by hiring top level executives to take the Organisation to the next level.
