IPL 2018 Player Retention: Virat Kohli retained for whopping Rs 17 cr

Marking the beginning of VIVO IPL 2018, the player retention announcement was broadcast for the first time on the Star Network, where eight franchises announced names of their retained players.

While Chennai Super Kings has retained M S Dhoni for Rs 15 crore, Virat Kohli has become the most expensive player at a whopping price of Rs 17 crore retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
