India Digital Awards: Top honours for Aruna Sundararajan, Nykaa’s Falguni Nayar

Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Government of India, was adjudged as the Digital Woman of the Year along with Falguni Nayar from Nykaa, while film director Karan Johar was adjudged as the Social Media Person of the Year at the 9th India Digital Awards presented by IAMAI. 

Interactive Avenues won the Digital Agency of the Year, while the coveted Digital Person of the year went to Byju Raveendran. Udaan won the Digital Start-up of the Year. 

GroupM Media India won the silver for Digital Agency of the Year, while Columbus India (SVG Media) won the bronze. 

The winners of the 9th India Digital Awards, coinciding with the 13th India Digital Summit, 2019, were announced at a glittering awards function held in Delhi on Saturday (January 19). The awards this year had 8 categories – Digital Advertising, Digital Content, Social Media, Mobile and App Award, Payment and Fintech Awards, Technology Awards, Digital Social and Economic Empowerment Awards, and Special Awards.
