Imagine TV has launched a unique platform that tries to reach out the job requirements of the youth across the country. The channel is launching a new show called 'Job Time TV' starting 15th November at 8.30 am.

The show will be jointly produced by Rahul Mahajan and A.F.Inam's Dream Mills. Moreover the creative thought is by A.F.Inam who is known for shows like Sukhanoya on D.D. Marathi, Zameer on D.D. National.

Speaking exclusively to Adgully, Inam, Chief Executive Officer, Dream Mills, says, "Basically this show is designed as career guidance to our viewers and so as to inform about job opportunities to them. We will be showcasing the various job opportunities which are available across various sectors. Besides this show will look at targeting not just the highly qualified graduates across the country, but would want to reach to the not so privileged or much educated masses too."

Talking to Adgully about the new initiative, Mahajan, Producer, says, "Job is a very important thing in today's world. Everybody looks for a dream job and better opportunities. Besides employment opportunities have been more or less being spoken about through media like print and internet, but not on television. So we thought of Television as a medium to reach directly into the homes of our viewers with a nearly 4 to 5 thousand jobs every week. Besides we will be able to exhibit better transparency as the employers will be out there talking about their requirements."

The show will have two anchors who will talk about various job opportunities and also provide career guidance and personality development learning. The show will also have one-on-one interactions with the top brass of leading companies and which will be followed up with a few success stories. "We are looking at providing entertainment and a lot of information. The show will have a very practical approach," Mahajan adds.

The show will also look at targeting the smaller pockets across the country and thus the show is being designed in a Hindi format and has been introduced in the morning time band so as to match its goal of having mass appeal. The show will also have reconstructed frames to be able to narrate the history of a particular industry. The companies which have already shown interest in the show range from sectors like Pharmaceuticals, CSR, Steel, Beauty Products, Oil and Infrastructure. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
