HT & Editorji ink content partnership deal for 2019 Lok Sabha Elections

Media powerhouse Hindustan Times has joined hands with the personalized video news app editorji for extensive and special video coverage of the General Elections 2019. Hindustan Times and editorji have been working on programming that will give viewers an alternative to TV news. Shows that are being done by editorji, including interviews and ground reports are being showcased on Hindustan Times properties, including the website, mobile sites and social media feeds. Hindustan Times is creating unique playlists that are running on the editorji app. The two partners are also developing special shows together, that feature Hindustan Times content teams, and are anchored by media veteran Vikram Chandra.

On the counting day of the general election i.e. May 23, 2019, editorji will rollout comprehensive live coverage, hosted by Vikram Chandra with a panel comprising of Hindustan Times’ top political journalists, eminent politicians, political analysts and data experts. The show will be available on hindustantimes.com, livehindustan.com and livemint.com.

The digital video coverage from this partnership of Hindustan Times and editorji, is possibly the largest ever initiative of its kind in India. This is also the first time in 2 decades that Vikram and his team of highly experienced journalists are stepping away from TV to focus exclusively on digital formats.
