Harindra Singh takes full charge at Percept; Shailendra Singh steps down

In a top level rejig at Percept Group, its Chairman & MD, Harindra Singh, will now exclusively manage the operations of the Group. The development comes in the wake of the execution of a family settlement and arrangement between Harindra Singh and his younger brother Shailendra Singh in relation to the business of the Percept Group Companies and the properties.

While Shailendra Singh will continue as a passive shareholder in Percept, he will not be involved in the management of the Percept Group. Shailendra, who has been Joint Managing Director, is stepping down after little over three decades with the family-run media company.

In a statement issued, Harindra Singh said that the settlement was arrived at “by the grace of God and with the assistance of family elders and members”.

Neither Harindra Singh nor Shailendra Singh were available for comments, however, in a statement issued, Harindra said, “We wish Shailendra all the success in his new endeavours.”
