India's biggest music streaming app - Gaana has released statistics entailing the most staggering performances of the year. From the best artistes of 2018 to the most downloaded songs of the year...it has it all! The app has recorded total listening hours of 720 million in 2018. Interestingly, regional music also jumped 6 fold led by Punjabi, Tamil and Telegu. Devotional as a genre has also witnessed significant traction across age groups turning out to be the highest streamed genre between 5 am - 9 am. This and much more...
