Cheil India put up a strong show this year, being adjudged Agency of the Year in Branded Content. The agency also scored 8 Golds and was the Runners Up in Digital & Creative Company of the Year.

Emmanuel Upputuru, CCO, Cheil WW India:
“This is phenomenal. I am so proud of the work and my team for getting us the glory at Goafest 2019. I am glad we chose to participate and have such great wins, including Creative Agency of the Year. The wins are a testimony to our focus on creating an ecosystem which fosters creativity inspired and with the team like that, this is just the beginning! We look forward to ending this year with more wins across national and international platforms.”

Aneesh Jaisinghani, ECD, Cheil WW India:
“#TheRealKashmir campaign for adidas is very close to our hearts. We are humbled to receive so much recognition for real meaningful work. We just hope that the campaign continues to show the positive side of Kashmir to the world.”

Divya Radhakrishnan, Managing Director, Helios Media:
“Winning is always ecstatic, however, winning for an ad that was created to make a social change and initiated by the Government is beyond words.”

Hungry Films walked away with the Video Craft Specialist of the Year award. The company also won 3 Golds (Direction, Music, Editing) and 1 Bronze (Special Effects) for MP Tourism; and 1 Bronze (Casting) for Britannia Good Day.

Vijay Sawant and Dharam Valia of Hungry Films:
“Yesterday, Hungry turned five years old. Today, this toddler got the best birthday present ever. This is a moment of pure joy for all of us. What makes this even more special is when you win for work that has won hearts of people across the country. We share this win with our clients, agency partners and our entire crew. The pursuit of creative excellence always creates an infectious energy that drives everyone to give their best. We were fortunate to work with partners who radiated this energy and allowed us time to craft the work. On the MP spot, we got to invest 6 months to craft 60 seconds of communication and that’s what really makes it special.”

Karan Rawat, AutumnWinter Communication & Design:
“While we were hoping for a Gold, we won a lot of Bronze. But we are very happy with what we have won. We entered around 35 entries of which 32 entries were shortlisted and we have won 8-9 awards. Out of that, we got 3 Silvers and 5 Bronze. Every year we have won and three years back we were among the top 5 agencies in this category. The energy was very nice. Dentsu Webchutney did very well. They were the highlight of the evening. Whatever they have done is great work.”

Anup Dixit, Cog Digital & Design:
“I joined in December and the idea was to build momentum in what we do. Delhi is a different market from Mumbai. We said let’s put our entries here as it is a good stepping stone as any. Even as a jury chair of Design at Skillcraft, there is only one Gold. So, we were really strict and I have no idea how we won these two big ones. We put 25 entries and had 22 nominations. We have won 12-14 awards. We have a team of 65 people and 16 of us are here at Goafest. The atmosphere is great.”
