E-commerce Retail industry to mark record sales on Diwali 2018 with electronics, apparels, and gifts to have biggest spends - A study by SEMrush on Indian market in the Festive season of Diwali has revealed. The consumer behavior based on data sourced by SEMrush, a leading digital marketing toolkit explains that E-commerce retailers will focus more on leading sales categories as:

‘Diwali Gifts’, ‘Diwali Crackers’, and ‘Diwali Sale’ becomes keywords with the largest search volumes of 12100, 9900, and 3600 this September 2018 in the pretext of the Indian festive season. The study has shown that the Indian e-commerce giants are offering heaviest discounts on electronics, fashion, and furniture during the 2018 Diwali sale. The average Cost Per Click (CPC) for Google Ads in different verticals of the Indian market shows a wide range, where Insurance, marketing, and advertising has topped with INR 128.13 and INR 64.66 respectively.
